Writing contest winners to receive publishing packages valued at more than $10,000 total
MAITLAND, FL
Xulon Press is proud to announce the winner of the September 2013 Christian Choice Writing Contest. The contest received over 550 submissions from both amateur and professional writers, and the stories—which ranged from personal testimonies, to poems and works of fiction—were reviewed to determine one grand-prize winner. Besides the great honor of being named September 2013 Christian Choice Writing Contest winner, the first-place winner will receive a Xulon Press Elite Publishing Package (valued at $9,229) in recognition of his or her achievement. The second place winner will receive a Premium Publishing Package and the third place winner will receive a Basic Publishing Package.
The September 2013 Christian Choice Writing Contest winners are: in first place, God What Took So Long? by Janice Pernell, second place, Flip Flop Miracles by Maria Spencer and in third place, The LORD Will Provide by Thelma Mabry. This year, Xulon Press also wants to recognize two Honorable Mentions: Lord Protect Me From Mama’s Prayers by Deborah Sistare and Bring Your Cup by Dawn Marasco.
