Special Note: Announcement at the end of this article about Kat’s Marketing Tips for New Authors.
We addressed the naysayers, and there are detractors out there. Kat had such a sweet disposition and kind thought toward them. She simply asked them to pray for her that God will show her if she is in error. She sincerely only wants to do what God has called her to do… and her message of Heaven is simple – Heaven is a FUN Place and God wants us to know that!
As we began our conversation, I asked Kat “What one past experience changed the course of your life?” She thought for a few moments and then reflected “Two things from my earthly father were very significant in everything I achieved. First, I remember that He would look at me and say “there will be those who don’t think much of you or don’t know you but I want you to know that God has put greatness in you. I know you will achieve greatness in your life, as my lineage passes from me to you.” And second, as he was passing away, he said “there is hope inside of you, and you are going to do great things in this world to pass on the family heritage to you”. My father’s name was Joseph, and I spent 18 years in ministry with my father. And then there was the day Jesus walked into my home and said that I would be taken on tours of heaven. He had prepared me for three years, taking me out of my job at a law firm. He said he was preparing me for my next assignment. At the end of the three years of preparation, Jesus walked through the walls of my home and said that He and the Father were going to take me through tours of Heaven– and it all started that day!”
I asked her “What message do you want shared by the story of your life?”
Kat replied “I was willing to do whatever it took to let His will be done on this earth. Your kingdom come, your will be done in my life. I was willing to obey. It is the safest place to be – in His will. Love Him and love others more than yourself. I was willing to run my race and pour all my heart out to Him and because I was willing, the Host of Heaven ran with me.”
As I delved deeper, I asked “What would you tell others about your relationship with Christ that would inspire them?”
Kat became illuminated as she shared “There is hope for everyone to have an intimate relationship with the Lord. I was saved at four and at age five. Your will is key– especially in pursuing Him. If you don’t have the desire to pursue Him, then you should pray for that desire. He wants so much more for you. Use your will to choose to have an intimate relationship with Christ. Ask Him to give you that hunger to get more of Him. There’s hope for anybody. You choose with your will- so choose Him. I associate God as a father who wants His children to receive Him and trust Him that He loves us more than anyone can love us. He just wants us to fall in love with Him – pursue Him – seek Him!”
I asked Kat my signature question “What will they write on your gravestone that will sum up your life?” I was taken aback by the simplicity and yet, the magnitude of her concise answers. In an angelic voice, she whispered “I say… because I am, you are!”
We talked about that—Kat expounded on the volume of that message. She stated she had found her life’s mission was to acknowledge that all she is and all she has become is simply summed up in those words. Because of who He is… she is!
Those words just hung out there – like ripened fruit hanging on a tree – you just want to pluck the fruit and taste the sweet nectar flowing from that juicy first bite.
“I say… because I am, you are!”
All I could say was “Amen!”
Because Kat had brought this up previously, I asked her to address those who may cast aspersions on her ministry, her message, her vision, her commitment. I asked her “What would make me pick up your book and read it?”
She was resolute and calm and yet, authority flowed through her voice as she said “Doubters are always out there. They are not sure if what I am saying is biblical. They will say “You need to check this out in the word of God.” I challenge you to go watch my free videos on YouTube. Don’t buy my book right now. Just go out and Google the messages from others who have revealed how it has changed their life. Those messages will make you want to read the book. When others get a hunger for God and want to read His Word that is changing others lives—I point to the testimony of others as the proof. Go on Amazon.com and read the comments on my books and see how lives are being changed. Some are hateful. Their comments say “You are a liar, you are a false prophet, and you are a witch!” But God’s Word says “bless those that curse you, pray for those who despitefully use you.” I respond with “do you know that God loves you? Do you know that God wants to use you?” I will not even recognize the ugly words. I will just respond in love and not be offended and not hating in my heart. Love will always win against the darkness. I have had my detractors come back and ask for forgiveness. If you strike back, you are giving the enemy fuel for the fire. It will pierce them when you love them. I answer their accusations with love. Love conquers all!”
Seeing what an inspiration this minister of the gospel is to so many, I asked her “What inspires you?” She spoke up without a second thought. “His presence. Being around it, being in His presence inspires me to love more, to pursue Him more– to not give up. He is the greatest encourager. The Holy Spirit is my best friend. He will love you when other people are not doing it. The fruit that I see that is being produced in my life that is changing others lives. The testimony is fruit of what He has done in my life.”
When I ask this question, I am always amazed at the answer. “What is your theme scripture and why?”
She lit up as she shared her favorite scripture. “It’s about Heaven. 1 Corinthians 2:9 “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him!” Except it be revealed by His spirit. It is my theme scripture. His spirit leads me everywhere!”
I don’t often ask this question, but I felt inclined to ask “If someone were blind and needed you to sum up your books–what would you say to them to leave them with the essence of what you’ve written?”
“The revelation of Heaven. It’s about the relationship with the Trinity when you get to Heaven. I’ve been to Heaven hundreds of times. When Jesus said “I desire that they be one as we are one”. When you depart and are taken to Heaven, Jesus will pull you out of the river of life because so many want to jump in. The most significant event was meeting the Father for the first time. Every time one of us comes home, Jesus walks you up the steps to the great throne and presents you to the Father… confirming that you came from the Father and how He cares for you and has nurtured you. I cannot live without Him. This amazing thing is that the Trinity steps inside each other–making them three in one. When you come home to Heaven, you will step inside the Father, Son and Holy Spirit and then you step inside them and feel complete for the first time. It is an all consuming love, embraced by them and you are one in them. Everything in your life was to bring you to the point where you are presented to the Father and you become a part of them. You are then shown how the glory is produced from inside the Father, the rainbow. And there’s a news bulletin from Heaven “God wants us to pray and play – have fun—it’s one of the greatest tools against the enemy—fun will be used in the future as a tool for defeating the enemy!”
I had to admit, as our conversation drew to a close, I had not expected this. Wasn’t sure exactly what I had expected, but I was pleasantly surprised with the “person” I found in Kat Kerr, and I shared with her how her books had helped my sister-in-law mourn the recent loss of my brother. I thanked her for her words that were soothing and healing for my family, and I expressed my heartfelt “thank you” because she had helped someone I could not—with her visions of Heaven and her message of “play and pray!”
Thanks to Kat, I see Heaven in a whole new light—and I looking forward to having fun when I get there!

Kat Kerrs books and ministry have given me more hope than I have ever had. We lost a 24 yr. old gr.son in April and I am not grieving for him as I am so happy that he is in heaven!!!….[he was saved] When she talks about how much God loves us and all of the things He has for us, it is just wonderful, can hardly wait to go to heaven. The only problem I have had is that for yrs. and yrs. most of the prophetic people have said the Lord is coming very soon and everything that is happening now shows that His coming is at the door…so when she said that His coming isn’t for over another 200 yrs. it shook many people to the core and so of course it would be questioned….Jack Van Impe, John Hagee, Perry Stone, Hal Lindsey etc. etc……I wondered about them? are they all wrong? she said that she is a revelator and that is wonderful but I wonder why God would allow all of these guys to be deceived??? anyway I am working it through, to me it doesn’t matter anymore when the rapture is as my time could be up now…….anyway looking forward to more of Kat and her next book. Thank you, Gayle
